Q&A
Q: What kind of activity would use a confetti blaster?
A: CL-149-A is a perfect confetti blower to bring a shocking confetti rainbow effect for medium to large-size indoor and outdoor activities, such as cooperation events, sports events, and festivals.
Q: Could it (confetti blaster) be used indoors?
A: We have 3 models of confetti blaster: manual CL-149-A, DMX CL-149, and mini-size manual CL-150. The big size ones CL-149 & CL-149-A are generally used outdoors for long shoot distances of about 14~16 meters and also can be used indoors if the room is big enough. The smaller one CL-150 is better for indoor use with a shorter distance of 10~13 meters.
Q: Do you put CO2 high-pressure pipe with your confetti blaster? How long pipe do you give?
A: All of our confetti blasters come with 3 meters (10 feet) CO2 high-pressure pipe. The pipe has the correct screw for connecting the CO2 tank based on US/EU standards.
Q: Could the pipe be customized in length? (Can make it longer?)
A: Sure, the pipe can be customized longer with extra pay for additional length.
Q: How long CO2 pipe can be used maximum?
A: It’s better not to exceed 25 meters (80 feet) of pipe from a 40L tank. The machine does not work well if used beyond this length or with a small air-pressure CO2 tank.
Q: Do you have a CO2 tank that comes with your confetti blaster?
A: The CO2 tank is not included with our machines. We can offer an empty CO2 tank at $55/pc for 5L and $150/pc for 40L. However, export is only available for the 5L tank due to shipping constraints for the large tank.
Q: Can I link several CO2 cylinders to 1 confetti blaster?
A: Yes, multiple cylinders can be linked depending on your needs. Let us know your desired connection method so we can supply the correct hoses.
Q: Can I connect 1 CO2 cylinder to several confetti blasters?
A: Generally, 1 CO2 cylinder connects to 1 blaster. A full 40L tank supplies only 1 machine for about 40 seconds. For optimal spray, we do not recommend splitting 1 tank to multiple machines.
Q: Do you have a DMX control confetti blaster? Have DMX signal cables included?
A: Yes, we offer the DMX control model CL-149 (cables included).
Q: How far is the confetti blaster CL-149 / CL-149-A / CL-150 spray confetti?
A: CL-149 and CL-149-A spray about 14m to 16m. The mini model CL-150 sprays about 10m to 13m based on enough air pressure.
Q: Can CL-149-A / CL-150 be used in 110V/220V?
A: CL-149-A is manual and does not require electricity. CL-149 is DMX controlled and can be configured for 110V or 220V depending on your country.
Q: How much confetti can be added at once?
A: The small CL-150 can load 1~1.5 kg. CL-149 and CL-149-A can load up to 20 kg of confetti.
Q: What difference between CL-149 and CL-149-A? Which one is better?
A: Both use the Venturi principle to boost confetti ejection height. CL-149 is DMX and manual dual-use, better for synchronized shows. CL-149-A is purely manual, easier to operate, no electricity required.
Q: What is the whirlwind effect of CL-149 / CL-149-A?
A: The aluminum cast part compresses airflow to boost ejection speed, creating a vortex that projects confetti higher and farther.
Q: Can small gas cylinders be placed inside the machine?
A: The 5L cylinder fits inside CL-150. CL-149 and CL-149-A do not have space for internal cylinders.
Q: Is it possible to adjust the angle of the nozzle?
A: CL-150 has a fixed spray angle. CL-149 and CL-149-A have 3 manual angle positions.
Q: Can I use powder in the confetti blaster?
A: Yes, but please exercise caution when using powder. Some users have tried it successfully.
Q: What is the function of cast aluminum parts? Can I buy it separately?
A: The cast aluminum structure uses the Venturi design to enhance airflow and spray range. You may purchase the part separately, but please confirm nozzle size compatibility before ordering.
